Mechanical Engineering
Co-op
Duties and responsibilities include product testing and evaluation. Undergraduate students at the Junior or Senior level who have a minimum GPA of 2.9 and are interested in a career in the automotive industry are preferred. Must have hands-on machine shop experience and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and other departments. Must be familiar with Pro/E and/or AutoCAD 2D or 3D.
Electrical/Computer Engineering Co-op

Computer Science Co-op
We provide an excellent opportunity for a Computer Science student to put skills and education to work in a creative environment. Our CS co-op student will get hands-on experience developing software, testing and updating current software programs, as well as developing database applications and web applications that access those databases. Experience developing software programs using Visual Basic, Visual C++, or C#, and familiarity with Microsoft Access and SQL server is required. Experience with active server pages, Cold Fusion, .NET or C# is preferred. Interest in a career in the automotive industry would be helpful.
Supply Chain Management Co-op
Hunter Engineering Company provides an exciting opportunity for sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a major in Supply Chain Management or similar field. This individual will be involved in a variety of projects, which might include:
- Managing packaging contracts
- Prepare quote packages
- Running quality reports on various vendors
- Presenting quality and delivery information to buyers and vendors
- Assist in the purchasing of MRO material
- Developing a meaningful commodity code system
- Placing orders and expediting shipments
The Co-op will be assigned a mentor. Evaluations to the Co-op will be given. At the end of the term the Co-op will give an exit presentation to the entire purchasing department on what he or she has learned.
Interested candidates will have:
Minimum GPA of 2.9
Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management program or similar field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills
Basic knowledge of inventory control, EOQ, A/B/C items, etc.
