Web Application Developer

Job Summary
The Web Applications Developer will design, code and debug web applications that provide access to corporate databases. Primary focus is on web development. The developer will be involved in all aspects of the development process. Projects consist of custom web applications for external and internal use.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Recent graduates with strong baseline skills could be considered.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years of Java Script
  • C#, ASP.NET or Java development skills
  • Knowledge of SQL 2008+, relational database design, stored procedures
  • AJAX authoring, web services, and Java Script/jQuery
  • Web programming experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong interest in emerging web technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Addional skills desired:

  • Lifecycle management
  • SharePoint

QA Technician

Job Summary
To administer the testing of Hunter Engineering Company software, hardware and other equipment on vehicles that apply to the equipment sold.

Education Level

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have an in-depth understanding of alignment, brakes, and wheel / tire balancing as it relates to service equipment.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the automotive service field.
  • Must have strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft software tools and operating systems.
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • Experience with PC hardware, BIOS, Operating systems, debugging software, and analyzing data logs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project prioritization and tracking skills are required.
  • Experience with vehicle on-board computer systems and scan tools is preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make detail-oriented observation of alignment software operation as it relates to sensor hardware during on-vehicle testing.
  • Provide testing feedback and written technical reports to the Engineering Department on the usability and quality of products utilizing bug-tracking software, such as Visual Intercept or MS Team Foundation Server.
  • Make detail-oriented observation of software operation as it relates to balancing equipment and the hardware that it associated with it.
  • Verify that wheel adaptors and sensor fit the vehicle and that the sensors are able to measure the vehicle.
  • Make detail-oriented observations of software used in a safety inspection lane.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Hunter's Mechanical Design Engineers are responsible for the development of machines for use in the automotive service industry. Specifically, these positions will be responsible for taking machine design projects from conception through production release. Typical tasks include developing mechanical components and subsystems through the process of investigation, specification development, design, analysis and testing. Pro-Engineer is used for all design projects.

Design includes the selection of part configurations, materials and manufacturing processes to achieve reliable function at low cost. Mechanical engineers are also expected to validate design through analysis and testing.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 to 7+ years machine design experience
  • Component part design
    1. Castings
    2. Extrusions
    3. Molded plastic parts
  • Mechanism design
  • Machined metal parts, material and heat treat
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Electro-mechanical system integration
  • Balancing of rotating masses

Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

Qualified candidates will have a thorough knowledge of all welding practices and a minimum of the basic knowledge to run manual mills and lathes as well as basic knowledge of sheet metal forming.
