Hunter Introduces HawkEye™ High-Definition Digital Imaging Wheel Alignment

Faster Alignment and Increased Productivity in a Smaller Footprint
Hunter’s new HawkEye™ high-definition digital imaging alignment system employs patented technology to offer shops the multiple benefits of precision, high-speed alignment and greater productivity, while using a minimum amount of bay space. Optimized for speed and efficiency, the new HawkEye alignment system significantly reduces service time by providing alignment measurements in less than two minutes and the potential to complete the job, including adjustment, in as few as three trips around the vehicle.
In addition to the performance benefits it offers, the HawkEye system also significantly reduces the distance required from the front turnplates to the front bay wall to secure accurate alignment readings. Combined with a range of Hunter alignment rack options, the HawkEye alignment system can achieve a minimum overall bay length that fits the most challenging shop floor layouts.
High-Definition Imaging Sensors Speed Service
HawkEye™ sensors use multi dimensional modeling to provide accurate alignment measurements. The operator can use either live plane mode, which uses the targets as a reference plane, or the traditional patented alignment mode, which uses the rack runways as a reference plane.
Four high-resolution digital cameras continuously measure wheel target position and orientation, providing the same alignment measurements as conventional sensors.
Hunter WA Alignment Consoles
Hunter’s WA alignment consoles has upgraded PC hardware and many popular premium features standard.
The WA is also available with special cabinet designs that hold alignment tool kits and aftermarket correction kits.

High-Definition Alignment Targets
- High-definition enhancement for use with HawkEye sensors, providing a larger field of view both horizontally and vertically.
- Smaller and lighter, high-definition alignment targets are very easy to handle.
- High-definition alignment targets are durable featuring corrosion resistance, a shatterproof aluminum faceplate, impact-resistant housing and protective bumpers.
- High-definition alignment targets are easy to use with no electronics to damage if dropped, no calibration and no cables - They're virtually maintenance-free.
- Self-centering wheel adaptors fit 10" to 24.5" rims. Optional extensions and adaptors are available for
specialty and hard-to-mount wheels.
