PowerBay Express Alignment automates and integrates key functions of the console, camera sensors, and lift rack, eliminating steps and speeding alignment.
To further enhance time- and space-saving capabilities, the HawkEye system with WinAlign software can be combined with a premium RX scissor lift to create the ultimate alignment setup, which Hunter markets as PowerBay™ express alignment.
PowerBay express alignment integrates the speed and accuracy of the HawkEye sensors and the comprehensive software features of WinAlign consoles with the efficiency of a flush-mount RX scissor lift equipped with the automated PowerSlide® system and Inflation Station features.
The PowerSlide system communicates directly with the alignment console to lock and unlock turnplates and slipplates automatically as needed through the alignment process, without any input from the technician.
Inflation Station automatically sets tire pressure for each wheel simultaneously. A technician simply sets the recommended tire pressure at the console and attaches an air hose mounted to the lift at each wheel. Inflation Station automatically detects the connection and begins to fill or bleed the wheels to the correct pressure in seconds.
The space-saving flush-mount RX scissor lift offers ample lifting capacity with a small footprint, and the shallow-pit installation, which sets the runways flush to the floor when fully lowered, eliminates the need for long approach ramps that add to the overall length of the bay.
Together these features significantly reduce service time by cutting the number of trips around the vehicle in half and allow the entire PowerBay system to be installed in a minimum overall bay length that fits the most challenging shop floor layouts.
