Vehicle Database SpecialistWe are seeking a Vehicle Data Base Specialist to join our Research and Development team. This entry-level position will be responsible for gathering and interpreting data specifications for vehicle alignment, suspension design changes, and related automotive/vehicle data. This includes communicating with automotive OEM's on a regular basis. This individual will update and maintain this information via a computerized database system, as well as create graphic images for the various alignment systems. This often includes identifying suspension components and other under-body parts on graphic illustrations or digital photos. This individual will also analyze, evaluate, and disseminate data and information as requested to development engineers and field personnel.Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. A 4-year college degree is preferred. Applicants must have high-level PC experience with emphasis on database maintenance, strong internet skills, and attention to detail. Must be familiar with file structures, SQL queries (applicants will be tested), and report generation (Oracle a plus). Must have experience with graphics software packages (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).
