GSP9700 Upgrades Adapt to Market Trends

Hunter has released upgrade packages for all GSP9700 Road Force Measurement® System models. The packages offer reduced cycle time and the ability to service a wider range of wheel sizes.

A new Adjustable-Length Inside Dataset® Arm now accommodates wheels up to 30 inches! This makes runout measurement and placement of clip-on or adhesive weights possible on extreme custom and oversize wheels.

QuickMatch Software Feature can reduce cycle time by as much as 50 percent when “quick-matching” tires and rim runout, by calculating loaded radial runout instead of actual forces in the wheel assembly. Technicians wishing to match-mount wheels using only loaded runout data can now do so. This is a fast, repeatable and fully automatic feature that functions during the balance spin.

Upgrades available for all GSP9700 models Upgrades available for all GSP9700 models allow shops to capture more revenues by servicing the newest custom and oversize wheel designs.

HAt its annual convention in St. Louis, the Missouri chapter of the Society of Professional Engineers recently presented its 2004 New Product Award to the engineers and managers responsible for developing Hunter's new OCL400 On-Car Brake Lathe. The event marked the second consecutive year in which the MSPE has recognized Hunter for bringing an innovative product to market.

Products nominated for the award were judged on engineering ingenuity, functionality, safety and packaging, in addition to their economic contribution to the state of Missouri.

The OCL400 helps shops increase quality of service, productivity and profitability by incorporating patented Hunter technology to speed and simplify on-vehicle rotor machining. Advanced capabilities make the OCL400 especially valuable to shops servicing SUVs and rear rotors on vehicles with locking differentials.
