Hunter Shows Newest Technology to International Markets at Reifen 2004 |

Hunter recently exhibited its newest technology available to international markets at the Reifen 2004, one of the essential European auto industry trade fairs. Held at the Messe Essen exhibition center in Essen, Germany, Reifen caters to automobile and truck tire related industries and services. Some of Hunter's largest international customers attended the show, including European automakers and privately branded tire and service shops affiliated with European tire makers. Hunter was represented at Reifen by Hunter Deutschland GmbH, the Germany-based wholly owned subsidiary of Hunter Engineering Company. |

Hunter Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dave Smith has named David Newton to manage the Portland Region. As the new Portland Regional Manager, Newton is now responsible for the sales and service territory that includes Washington state, Oregon and part of northern California, and extends inland to include all of Idaho, Montana and most of Wyoming. Newton, formerly New Orleans Regional Manager, began his career with Hunter as a Sales Representative in 1999. Newton now reports directly to Hunter Western Division Manager Bill Markey. Hunter fields 22 Regional Managers who are responsible for approximately 600 alignment and wheel service Hunter Sales Representatives and independent Hunter Service Representatives covering the United States. |
