Hunter's DSP500 Alignment Sensors Provide the Speed, Ease of Use, Accuracy and Reliability Shops Need To Increase Alignment Profits

Hunter's DSP500 Sensors feature a patented high-resolution Charge-Coupled Device Measuring System that provides quick, precise alignment readings, including wheelbase and track width. Toe-out-on-turns can be measured without the use of electronic turnplates. Each sensor contains a high-speed microprocessor that acquires real-time measurements and produces an immediate response between changes in actual measurements and displayed values.

All DSP500 Sensors come with newly designed Self-Centering Wheel Adaptors. The new adaptors cover an extended range from 10” to 24.5”, allowing the same adaptor to be used for passenger cars, pickups and SUVs. Optional extensions and accessories are available for specialty wheels.

DSP500 Sensors are designed to be lightweight, yet rugged. The electronic components are protected by an outer cover made of the same bulletproof material used in fighter jet canopies. Integrated rubber bumpers further guard impact-prone areas.

The optional cordless models utilize XF-Radio technology to provide high-speed communication without cables connecting the sensors to the console. The cordless sensor batteries power a full day of continuous operation and are “hot-swapable”, ensuring compensation measurements are not lost in the event of a power outage or during battery replacement. DSP500 cordless sensors can be recharged between jobs by the patented Docking Stations attached to the alignment cabinet.
