Hunter's DSP600 Digital Imaging Alignment Sensors Offer Superior Results and a Reliable Design With No Moving Parts![]() Mounted on a pedestal, high enough to stay out of harm's way, the patented four-camera system projects a wide field of view to continuously monitor wheel target position and orientation over a range of alignment lift heights. This unequalled capability virtually eliminates the need for moving cameras and allows a technician to adjust the lift height to a comfortable working position without compromising the cameras' ability to monitor the targets. The elevated position of the cameras, lack of moving parts and the fact that no cables or electronic signals are used between the targets and the console practically cut out calibration and maintenance, reducing both downtime and repair costs. DSP600 Sensors greatly increase the speed of the initial data acquisition. After mounting the targets, a technician simply rolls the vehicle back and forth to quickly compensate all the sensors at once and then immediately views camber, toe and thrust line measurements. The faster a technician receives basic alignment information, the better chance the job will be completed quickly, increasing productivity. DSP600 Sensors offer multi-dimensional modeling to provide accurate alignment measurements. A technician can choose from either a live plane mode, which uses the targets as a reference plane or the traditional alignment mode, which uses the rack runways as a reference plane. Patented DSP600 Sensor targets require no calibration. No electronics, batteries or cables are needed at the wheel. The targets are both lightweight and durable. The impact-resistant housing contains integrated bumpers for further protection. The shatterproof aluminum faceplate is corrosion resistant and virtually maintenance-free. DSP600 Sensors can be used with any Hunter Series 811 Aligners running WinAlign® 7.0 or more recent alignment software. Patented and award-winning WinAlign® Software features make alignment fast and easy, using the most comprehensive alignment information database in the industry. Hunter Engineering is a world leader in wheel alignment, brake service, wheel service and safety inspection lane equipment.
