Hunter's Computerized Vehicle Inspection Lane Increases the Profitability of Any Shop

Hunter's Inspection Lane executes fast, accurate road-performance inspections that can increase the overall service volume of a shop.

With Hunter's Inspection Lane, complete undercar safety inspections can be performed in approximately three minutes. The lane design allows quick and easy inspections, since there is no need to lift the vehicle or remove the wheels. The system measures vehicle components as they perform on the road, which provides more accurate readings and reveals service opportunities that may have otherwise been missed.

Hunter's Inspection Lane breaks down into three different systems, which are all controlled by Hunter's exclusive WinSI Safety Inspection Software:

The Brake Tester measures brake force, deceleration, brake balance and efficiency, vehicle weight, and parking brake operation. It takes in account the weight shift from rear to front and side to side that occurs when braking on the road.

The Suspension Analyzer tests each corner of a vehicle's suspension for both tire-to-road adhesion and dampening – the ability to isolate road irregularities.

The Sideslip Meter indicates the presence of incorrect wheel alignment or other mechanical problems.
