Hunter's L421 Lift Rack Offers Many Features To Help Service a Variety of Vehicles

Combining a 14,000-lb. capacity, an open front crossmember for easy access and a 22 1/2” runway width, the Hunter L421 Four-Post Alignment Lift Rack is designed for operating efficiency to help service a wide range of vehicles, including crew-cab style pickups.

The L421 features a maximum general service wheelbase of 188 1/2”, a maximum two-wheel alignment wheelbase of 172 1/2” and a maximum four-wheel alignment wheelbase of 158”. An optional extension kit provides a maximum general service wheelbase of 226 1/2”, a maximum two-wheel alignment wheelbase of 210 1/2” and a maximum four-wheel alignment wheelbase of 196”. Extensions allow shops to service tilt-bed rollback towing vehicles, stretch limousines and other vehicles most shops cannot handle.

The L421 runways are constructed of heavy-duty 5/16” steel, compared to commonly used 1/4” or 11/64” lighter weight materials. The open front crossmember allows easy service access to the vehicle and jacks. There are no floor obstructions, so the area is clear for the technician, tools and equipment. Flush-mounted, full-floating 80” slip plates allow the vehicle's rear suspension to “relax” for maximum alignment accuracy.

The L421 locks at any of 20 heights up to 70” and is fully equipped for a total four-wheel alignment. Optional 8,000-lb. capacity swing air jacks add the capability of lifting vehicles off the runways during alignment procedures and other service operations.
