Hunter's TC3250 Enhanced Euro-Style Tire Changer Handles Today's Toughest Performance Wheels![]() The exclusive rubber-pad “tulip” clamping system exerts uniform clamping strength, eliminating spinning and scoring damage to wheels. The tilted ergonomic design positions the wheel at a consistent work height and incorporates a spring-loaded wheel centering support to assist the technician with lifting the wheel off the changer. The air motor, which controls the clamping system, generates high torque, full bidirectional rotation, requires no electrical hookup and is extremely quiet. The three-point articulated mounting arm allows the exclusive polymer mounting head to follow the rim without damage, even if the wheel is clamped off-center. Made of a wearing material and riding closer to the rim than steel mounting heads, the polymer head removes the potential of marring damage and reduces the stress to beads on stiff, low-profile tires. The new Force Multiplier Arm is an optional feature that aids the technician with added leverage on the mounting arm when seating the mounting head and holding it down against the wheel. The smooth, powerful bead breaker is also air motor driven, which eliminates the violent forces associated with air cylinder operation when loads are applied and immediately released. A bottom bead lifter arm attached to the column reloosens the lower bead without tugging or pulling. There is no need to remove a tire from the clamp and reapply the bead breaker. The optional, pneumatic Plus Device Kit assists in servicing difficult tire and rim assembles. The bead roller of the Plus Device pushes stiff tires down into the drop center for easier mounting and helps reloosen upper and lower beads when demounting.
