Hunter’s New Inflation Station Saves Time and Improves Alignment Accuracy

Hunter’s new Inflation Station speeds service and ensures more accurate alignments by automatically setting the correct pre-selected tire pressure for each wheel simultaneously.

To ensure an accurate alignment, all wheels must be inflated to the correct tire pressure before taking measurements.  Without Inflation Station, this procedure wastes valuable minutes by requiring the technician to drag an air hose around the vehicle to each wheel, repeatedly inflating and checking pressure with a tire gauge until the desired pressure is achieved.

With Inflation Station, the technician simply sets the recommended tire pressure at the lift console or the alignment console (when in use with new HS401 HawkEye™ alignment systems) and attaches an air hose mounted to the lift at each wheel.  Inflation Station automatically detects the connection and begins to fill or bleed the wheels to the correct pre-selected pressure in seconds, allowing the technician to move on to the next step in the alignment process.

Inflation Station is available on newly purchased, select Hunter RX scissor lifts.

Hunter Engineering is a world leader in wheel alignment, brake service, wheel service and safety inspection lane equipment.  Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and automotive service facilities around the world.
