SBDA (Suspension Body Dimension Audit)

Provides A Quick Screening To Determine If Vehicle Is Alignable, Identifies Need For Collision Repair Procedures.

SBDA is a standard feature of WinAlign® Software. SBDA requires DSP306, DSP308, DSP506 or DSP508 Sensors and the Electronic Ride Height Measurement* option.

RangeFinder® Feature: Ride height and body offset measurements are taken using a special tool. The RangeFinder® feature then calculates track width and wheelbase (up to 210”). Ride height is also calculated and the results are displayed.

Measuring

The Procedure:
  • The operator enters front and rear rim widths and selects the adapter type to begin the body measurement process.
  • Ride height is electronically measured for each wheel and displayed.
  • Body offset is measured using an integrated gauge.

The Results:
Measurements from the sensors are displayed on an easy-to-understand display.

Excessive body angle, body wheel offset and body wheel set back can easily be identified. This can indicate the need for body work prior to aligning the wheels.

Ride height measurements are used for a 3-dimensional display showing front and rear body roll.
