Rolling Smooth Course Description (Canadian Course)
This course is designed to instruct the technician in vibration theory,
vibration sources, balancing theory, balancing accessories, Centering
Check® Road Force Measurement®, MatchMaker® and fundamental
hardware and software operation of the Road Force® GSP9700. Additional information
on how to correctly diagnose assemblies that are beyond user selected
guidelines.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Understand vibration theory and how it relates to tire and wheel assemblies
- Perform basic electronic calibration of equipment measuring and balancing systems
- Correctly interpret and communicate diagnostic messages and fundamental screens
- Perform two plane balancing, combination weight methods, adhesive
weight, and Split Spoke® Balancing operations
- Perform and interpret MatchMaker® information
- ForceMatch® tire and wheel assembly
