Hunter Engineering to showcase its touchless inspection technology at the 2018 SEMA Show

10/31/2018 -

LAS VEGAS - Hunter Engineering Company® will showcase its new unmanned alignment inspection system, Quick Check Drive at the 2018 SEMA Show, Oct. 30 – Nov. 2 (South Hall, Booth #41013).

Released in July 2018, Quick Check Drive is Hunter’s latest inspection technology that provides instantaneous alignment readings and requires no human involvement.

Quick Check Drive is an innovative leap from the original Quick Check®, Hunter’s vehicle inspection system that was released in 2011.

Each Quick Check Drive is equipped with eight cameras and 32 laser sensors that scan a vehicle’s tires as they drive past, eliminating operator labor and stopping of the vehicle; meaning no service drive back-up and making it possible to check every car that visits your shop.

The system can scan a vehicle every 3-5 seconds, measuring total toe and camber autonomously and providing unmatched accuracy on every vehicle it inspects.

Quick Check Drive features optional body damage image viewing through HunterNet®, Hunter’s online business intelligence tool. With this feature, service providers can capture 40 or more images per vehicle without a time penalty and protect themselves against questionable damage claims.

In addition, Quick Check Drive features integrated license plate cameras that provide automatic vehicle identification, powered by CARFAX, eliminating the need for manual specification lookup.

Nearly 60 percent of vehicles on the road are in need of alignment, and wheel alignment is the most profitable service in dealerships and service facilities. With Hunter’s Quick Check Drive, service providers can realize unprecedented profits and revenue, and vehicle owners can maximize tire life by correcting misalignment.
