Hunter Engineering wins two 2024 PTEN Innovation Awards

2024-09-03 -
Contest recognizes company’s revolutionary ADAS and commercial alignment systems

ST LOUIS – Hunter Engineering is pleased to announce that it has twice been named a winner in the 2024 PTEN Innovation Awards contest.

Hunter was honored for Ultimate ADAS® in the ADAS category and the HawkEye® XL Commercial Alignment System in the Tire & Wheel Service category.

The two Innovation Awards are the sixth and seventh presented to Hunter in the past three years.

Now in its 25th year, the awards were established to honor companies that help auto repair professionals excel at their jobs through innovative new tools and equipment.

The 2024 contest included 25 categories, with winners selected by a third-party judging panel consisting of technicians and shop owners.

Ultimate ADAS® combines standard-setting alignment technology with an efficient and easy-to-use guided target placement system for around-the-vehicle coverage. Gimbal-mounted lasers replace the inexact guesswork of strings, plumb bobs and tape measures to cut setup time by 70 percent for some procedures.

The versatile HawkEye® XL Alignment System, designed for maximum speed, durability and ease of use for a wide range of commercial vehicles, provides highly accurate measurements in four minutes or less. The heart of the XL is visionary new camera technology with extra-long range and extra-large targets, expanded from the industry-leading HawkEye® Elite aligner.

“We’d like to say thank you to PTEN and its panel of experts,” said Pete Liebetreu, Hunter Vice President of Marketing. “We’re always gratified and honored to be recognized in our industry. Most importantly, though, we’re excited to provide for our customers new levels of efficiency, documentation and profitability for ADAS calibrations and alignments.”

“On behalf of the PTEN Innovation Awards, I would like to congratulate Hunter Engineering on their winning products,” PTEN Editor Emily Markham said. “This competitive program allows PTEN to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products impacting the vehicle repair community this year.”

Winning submissions will be published in the September issue of PTEN. The magazine will also present an official awards ceremony to honor Innovation Awards winners at the AAPEX Show this November in Las Vegas.
