Hunter Engineering named winner in MOTOR Top 20, PTEN Innovation Awards contests
ST. LOUIS – Hunter Engineering is pleased to announce it has been named the recipient of awards in the 2025 MOTOR Top 20 and PTEN Innovation Awards contests.
For the MOTOR Top 20 contest, the winning entry was the new HawkEye® Elite X alignment and ADAS calibration system.
In the PTEN Innovation Awards contest, Hunter University was named the winner in the Training category.
The annual MOTOR Top 20 Awards recognize the most significant advancements in the automotive industry. Hunter Engineering has been a frequent Top 20 winner over the past two decades, including six awards in the past five contests.
The new HawkEye® Elite X configuration is a scalable alignment, diagnostics and ADAS solution that can be expanded to Hunter’s Ultimate ADAS® for laser-guided static calibrations.
“This MOTOR Top 20 recognition affirms our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that empower shops to build scalable, profitable alignment businesses,” said Alan Hagerty, Hunter Alignment Product Manager. “From steering system resets and dynamic calibrations today to future-ready static ADAS capabilities, HawkEye® Elite X is designed to grow with our customers’ needs.”
The PTEN Innovation Awards were established to honor companies that help automotive repair professionals through innovative new tools and equipment. Winners are selected by a third-party judging panel of technicians and shop owners.
Hunter University, a global learning platform designed for easily accessible training for customers, technicians, instructors and students, is Hunter’s eighth PTEN Innovation winner in the past four years.
“It’s truly gratifying to be named a winner in the Training category, given the industry’s critical need for skilled technicians,” said Hunter Field Development Director Tom Settle.
Additionally, Hunter’s ADAS Coverage Guide received an honorable mention in the Reference Guide category.
Winning companies from both contests will be celebrated at receptions at AAPEX 2025 this November in Las Vegas.
