Hunter enhances Quick Check® inspection with new cloud-based software
Hunter Engineering has announced the implementation of all-new cloud-based Inspection Live™ software for its Quick Check Drive® and Quick Check Edge® autonomous inspection system, streamlining existing processes and enabling new capabilities.
Responding to customer requests, Inspection Live™ now allows two service lanes to be run from a single console, increasing efficiency while reducing upfront cost and equipment footprint. Additionally, customers may now conveniently receive over-the-air updates as soon as they’re ready, with weekly spec updates, monthly software updates and quarterly license plate recognition updates.
A new software subscription model replaces manual renewals for body damage images and onsite renewals for specs and software, placing customers on a regular renewal payment cadence of their own choosing.
The large Flightboard™ video monitor, lending transparency and easily comprehensible results to customer conversations, has been refreshed with more eye-catching icons and tire tread renders.
“Hunter’s Quick Check Drive® has been finding additional revenue in the service lane for years, and now Inspection Live™ speeds up the development cycle to get customers new features faster and easier than ever,” said Mike Brecht, Hunter Product for Inspection. “This subscription-based model unlocks over-the-air updates and a more powerful PC can now run two lanes at once.”
The Quick Check Drive® and Quick Check Edge® alignment and tire tread inspection systems accelerate alignment and tire business by instantly measuring alignment angles and edge-to-edge tire tread on every vehicle driving through the service lane, with no stopping or labor required.
