Hunter and Dealer Tire will preview new automated tire recommendation at NADA 2020
LAS VEGAS – Hunter Engineering and Dealer Tire LLC are partnering to bring dealerships an easier and faster way to increase tire revenue through Hunter’s autonomous inspection system. This integration will be demonstrated in Hunter’s booth in Central Hall (#234C) at the 2020 NADA Show, Feb. 15-17.
Dealer Tire customers with Hunter’s unmanned inspection systems, Quick Check Drive® and Quick Tread Edge®, can generate automatic tire recommendations for motorists.
A vehicle simply passes through Hunter’s unmanned inspection system in about 5 seconds. The system will then provide the tire inspection results and a tire recommendation from Dealer Tire (if tires are needed), making the process seamless and convenient for service advisors and customers.
The new automated tire recommendation requires Hunter’s latest WinAlign software, planned for release in Q2 2020. All Hunter Quick Check Drive® and Quick Tread Edge® inspections systems are fully capable of running this newest software version.
